Every piece is made from scratch and no two are ever really alike.Grain patterns are different on every piece and the effect achieved depends very much on the timber available. And that's the beauty of working with a natural product like wood. I really enjoy crafting a piece from nothing - sourcing the materials, trying to match boards as best as possible, machining the wood to the correct dimensions, making joinery and seeing it all come together.

Every piece I sell is made here, at home, in Hampshire. Often people are taken aback to find out that the piece of furniture they bought from a British site was actually manufactured in Vietnam, China or elsewhere. The cost of making anything here at home is higher for many reasons so I always shy away from demonising these manufacturers - they offer a certain type of product at a very competitive price. And there is no competing with that.
But if you would like a piece of furniture that is unique, has character and isn't off-the-shelf, then you've come to the right place!
